There is a quiet island in the northern seas that is home to one of the most infamous reformatory schools in the northern hemisphere. St. Claire Academy, built within the walls of an old Victorian mansion donated lovingly to the education system, is a school dedicated to setting children who have strayed in their ways back on the proper path, be they delinquents, rebels, or gays.
In fact, St. Claire specializes in aiding those sexually confused youths and helping them find the path of redemption, with regular therapy sessions along with classes offered to all of its children. While some may find the... methods of this particular academy to be strict, unreasonable, or even "unethical", it had held strong against protests and still expels plenty of renewed children into the world every year.
St. Claire, because of it's Victorian housing, is limited in terms of technology. Students are to work and live in an "untempered environment", communicating with peers only when lucky and obeying the rules with fear of cruel and unusual punishments, absorbing rants and raves from their teachers and therapists. That is, until students learn the lay of the land and how to work the system for benefits for himself and his peers.
Dare to thrive, or be taken under. Here, it runs as survival of the fittest.
