appearance: Aiden is the quiet, simple type who prefers the ordinary look. He’s very subtle when it comes to expressing himself through clothing. While he does enjoy comfy, outlandish looks; Aiden uses more of his illogical thinking when he needs to look ‘professional’ for class. Usually, the professor takes the whole pants and jacket to the next step. His undershirts are never polo and are normally from thrift or secondhand stores. The jackets, though, are displayed in a little less than professional. They hardly are ever buttoned and when he does decide to take the position of a ‘profession’ teacher; Aiden usually resorts only to one button. In the classroom, his professional apparel disappears and becomes more of a upheaval, messy attire. Frequently, you’ll find his so-called dressy jacket slumped over his desk chair or in unusual places.
Outside the classroom, Aiden in randomly, thrown together clothing. While he may not have much of a fashion sense, the outfit does pass public standard approval. Many people believe this shows more of his creative side, to simply wear what he see interesting. But in reality, Aiden cares less on what colors are in style or what brand clothing he wears. On a side note, he does take mild interest in odd accessories such as hats.
Aiden’s facial features are nothing to really brag about. His hazel eyes blend in quite nicely with fair, natural skin; which noticeable never tans for too long. Brown hair rest above his ear; normally untamed and brushed aside. There really isn’t nothing out of the ordinary with Aiden; he stands 6’3”, weighs as the average male, broad in the shoulders and slender at the waist. And while is hair remains messy, Aiden is always seen clean, shaven, and with a refreshing and charming smile.

personality:
Aiden is the typical, classical male who was misjudge in high school as a rebellious and unmotivated student. He ultimately proved his teachers wrong; transforming from a laid-back, underachiever into a charming, free spirited professor. He isn’t quite your average boarding school professor who encourages note taking and studying material. In fact, Aiden refuses to submit grades and simply evaluates his students by the pass or fail theory. What he does encourage is the freedom to express their desires, their creativity, and their willingness to obtain an opinion on philosophical matters. He seeks to challenge the mind of his students, to enhance their awareness, and learn how to channel inner emotion into something more expressive.
Aiden, though rich in opinions and dedicated to his class, has very little patience for the non-tolerant. He rarely gives warnings and when a student misbehaves; the professor’s punishment usually fits the student’s ‘crime.’ It’s common knowledge Mr. G will never intentionally fail a student, even go as far as keeping them a year behind so they may have a second chance to pass his class. Aiden’s impatience and anger is always masked by a direct and consoling persona. In which, he is initially aware of subtle hints that might be seen as a progressive behavior towards anger; such as a pen tapping repeatedly or pacing across the room and back.
Outside the classroom, Mr. G continues a respectable relationship with his students. There is no other way to describe his notorious ways of mysteriously showing up during a fight, solving the problems with irrational thinking and randomly disappearing. He, you can say, is unconsciously prowling around the school grounds to watch how his students behave outside his classroom. He might even aimlessly appear from nowhere to guide a student, if they perhaps show signs of reluctant problem solving. He enforces the rule to think outside the box, to avoid violence, and seek a solution based off the lesson often learned his class. He also has a undefined tenancy to trail into the music room and dance studio to either watch students practice or seal the room off for his own private practice benefits.
In his personal life, Aiden cherishes the solitude of simple life. He is the ever-so ‘go with the flow’ type of guy, who is rarely overwhelmed with stress. Although occasionally, the professor does have a few issues he refuses continually to acknowledge. Situations are hard to handle when family matters are conveyed half across the country. But his relationship with his family, located in Ireland, had never really been open and honest until he took the job at Bolstov Academy. A school not only teaching the students to cope with their emotions, but professor including.
Suggesting that Aiden has a great relationship with his family, one might think the same would be for women. Unfortunately, there is a secret in which Aiden prefers to keep hidden. Women to him are the challenge of a lifetime. Occasionally, he’ll find one with interest and it’ll supply his need for a challenge. But soon he faces with a dilemma that some men and women must face; boredom and repetition. Aiden won’t deny his mind is easily bored and entertaining the lad can be proven a difficult task.
Nonetheless, educating students in the art of creative writing and teaching actual problem solving skills are his career. Charming and alluring intuitive women is his favorite challenge. Listening to jazz and playing his guitar are Aidan’s favorite pastimes. Ultimately when you get down to it, Aiden’s an interesting character who just causes trouble as many times as he tries to fix it. Clever, witty, and studious are only but a few qualities included. No one ever said professor had to be old, gray, and indifferent.

father: Ardal Gallagher, age Fifty-six
mother: Bethea Gallagher, age fifty-five
siblings: Allen, age thirty-three; Aileen, died age thirteen; Barry, age twenty-four.
history:Bethea began to date Ardal Gallagher in the early 70’s where their small town community was isolated from the outside world. They grew up together and during their childhood, many teased Ardal would one day marry the young, sweet Bethea. None were to be more right when Ardal chose the day he would propose to Bethea. Fresh out of high school and soon after starting a family, Bethea and Ardal made their home in a small cottage; inherited by Ardal and his brother from their deceased father. The next few years, they lived off a small, but modest income-- supplied with a lifetime of sheep. Having four children of their own; three sons and one daughter, Bethea and Ardal never expected the household to expand when their sister-in-law gave birth to triplets. But everyone appreciated what they had and the love they gave.
Too bad for Aiden, who was born the black sheep of the family. Since a small boy, no one could ever make him pay attention. The oldest son, Allen, was expected to inherit the sheep farm and continue the family business. And true to his assigned title, Allen was the obedient son who learn to herd sheep and etc. at a very young age. Many believed Aidan to work along side his older brother; but those exact expectation died when he began to rebel at the age of ten. So to make excuses for their son’s lack of interest, the soon began to expect him to higher himself in education. While Allen quit school by the age thirteen, Aiden was forced to attended high school, so that he may earn high grades and be accepted into college. Unfortunately, their dream to have their son attend a university died away when Bethea and Ardal’s daughter became gravely ill.
By the time Aiden was fourteen, already causing trouble for his parents and breaking every school rule; Aileen grew desperately ill. To fund a trip so that she may visit a specialist, both parents agreed to use the money saved for Aiden’s education. Financially, they were less than poor, but neither father nor mother would allow their only daughter to die. During the trip to America, Aiden was never seen around his family, going out of his way to stay disconnected to his family. But little did he know his family was in financial debt, his sister had died, and father had gambled away all their money in pubs.
In the time Aiden barely graduated from High School, his family was hardly able to live off what little they had. Allen, the sole reason the farm was still running, had take the role as farm master. Their uncle, aunt, and three daughters moved to America with no means of contact and their father mentally ill, suitable for a catatonic state. When Aiden returned, having been accepted into a nearby college, his family were far from what he pictured them to be. Even after an argument with his father about his drinking problems; Aiden was more than angry when he left, sending a little money to his mother every month.
Aiden attended a local college, but soon fell behind when he could no longer hold down a job. Considering he may had a slight attitude problem, no one really went out of their way to help him. During a few months, he basically lived in a particular café, if you wanted to call it that, which played constant Jazz. When he finally ran out of money at the age of twenty, there was little left he could do and called it quits. Or at least that what he would of done, but instead someone finally smacked by the side of his head and told him to suck it up. That person was the manager of the little café.
Given a part time job writing a column for Jazz Café Newsletter; Aiden was able to save a little bit of money while sending every month to his mother. By the time he reached the young age of twenty-one, the same manager who basically slammed his rear back into reality and gave him a second chance, kicked Aiden out of the small town café and forced him to apply for a university. Unknowing to him, that decision made all the difference in Aiden’s life.
The next three years, he earned a degree in journalism; later accepting a job offering for a small company working with critics. He critiqued everything from foreign films to outlandish cuisine. Later, after a few years traveling, Aiden continued his education to earn all the qualities in becoming a teacher, where he hoped to teach those like him; to be the one person they need to teach them about problem solving, to give them the second chance they need in life, and the extra kick in the rear. Just like he needed in the past.

sample:Music. The ever calming sound of music. Resting in a particularly odd position with chin upon his knee, arms wrapped around his precious guitar, Aiden Gallagher sat within the music room alone. One leg, swinging freely from his stool and the other brushed up against his chest; the writing teacher held his old fashion guitar while his fingers expertly played through the strings. Nothing else soothed his nerves like a little music. Messy brown hair lingered near his ever-so slightly closed eyes, his ears just soaking the priceless sound of his guitar.
It was in the early morning, not even the professors have arrived to begin another day at Bolstov Academy. Aiden, hired only a year ago, enjoyed the silence in one of his most favorite room across the academy. He wouldn’t of thought years ago, he would be teaching students how to write at a boarding school. Naturally, when he first arrive, he felt compelled to sit silently-- allowing the students to write on their own. But before long, within weeks, he already forced the students to abandon their laptops and focus on the subject of writing. While he issued certain essays for homework, Aiden or known as Mr. G, advert their attention on more philosophical subjects that normally turned into debates. He, as a teacher, loved to hear the opinions of his students and push them into writing a piece explaining more of their original ideas.
As the clock ticked by, every second coming closer to start the day, Aiden chilled by himself. Eventually, not even aware of the time; a student rushed into the music room with very little knowledge a teacher was already located inside. When the sight of Mr. G came into view, the poor student came to a halt, only to be greeted with a sly smirk. He gracefully slid from the stool and with guitar in one hard, Aiden brushed his fingers through his hair.
“I think there is someplace you need to be.” Aiden began, though there was a hint of amusement in his voice. The student, whose first period was Mr. G’s class, rolled his eyes and stepped back through the music room’s door. Without explaining himself, the student who Aiden knew very well, shrugged and walked in the direction towards the correct class room. Aiden smiled at the student’s behavior and turned around to the close the door. Well, he thought. Why can’t my students trust me to be on time. They don’t need to send him every time I’m ten minute late. With that thought, Aiden walked off and brushed passed the male student with an amusing chuckle.
