to satisfy his curiosity, and no matter how much he enjoyed drawing, it could wait until later. Adler lightly trailed his fingers along the dusty spines, grinning at the feel of the curve, before randomly beginning to tap out a beat against them with nails painted a bright yellow. Then, suddenly, his hand twitched out, grabbing a random nonfiction book, and the seventeen-year old sat where he was, legs going 'criss-cross-applesauce'. Entranced by the words--written in English, thankfully, as he understood very little Russian--it would take a lot to jolt Adler out of this happy state, stooped over scanning the words, with fingers absently fiddling with a few strands of his blonde hair. He hadn't realized it, but a gentle hum had started up in his voice, random notes sounding soft through the rows of shelves, and a smile painted its way across his lips. ---[/ul] Word Count w/o Coding: 240.

The Library. The most silent room in the whole building.
The Library. The best place to be Aria.
The yellow-haired teenager walked up and down the isles. This was her quiet time during the day, or week, depending on how she felt. She was boundless, she was limitless. She loved being in the library here because there were so many lovely things to read, as well as learn, in so many different languages. She was currently learning Japanese and had homework in that class so she was looking for The Japanese Language: Volume One. It was somewhere down the N isle in the nonfiction secion.
She walked down the rows, humming a familiar tune. She spotted a boy sitting criss cross applesauce and reading a book. What boy actually read nonfiction books? She had continued walking, but then backtracked. He looked like the type of guy that wouldn't be caught dead in the library. With that hair, and those jeans! She loved him already just for those aspects. She walked near the cool looking guy, who could alwas be extremely fruity.
She hummed a familiar tune, and it turned out that he was humming it too. A slight grin spread accross her soft, pale face. "There it is!" She exclaimed in whispered voice. "Out of place...shame on that librarian..." Her voice was quiet because she didn't want to disrupt the boy a few feet from her, or get in trouble from the librarian. She held the book so if the guy turned around he could see the cover. Lovely, now she had to work on her homework. Ew.

the seventeen-year-old greeted, one arm curling the book to his torso while the other waved. His dark eyes went to the shelf beside him, as if distracted, and he happily perused the titles for a second or two before grinning back over to the sophomore. "I'm Adler--what'cha reading?" Without waiting for an answer though, he tilted his head to get a better view of the title (despite it being in plain sight). Once he saw it, his bright gaze moved back to Aria's face. "Ooh! Are you learning Japanese? Or in Japanese class? I can help, if you need it." The other arm came around to help support his book as well, not that it really needed it. ---[/ul] Word Count w/o Code: 227.
